Pneumatic Actuation Without Giving Up Hydraulic Pressure Capability
A high pressure pneumatic ball valve combines a pressure-rated hydraulic ball valve with an air-operated rotary actuator. Compressed air moves the actuator, while the valve body controls hydraulic oil inside the process line. This distinction matters: it is not a general-purpose low-pressure valve for water or compressed-air piping.
Chenyang’s KHB/KHM pneumatic actuated hydraulic ball valves are intended for fast, repeatable and remote shut-off. They are useful when a manual handle is inconvenient, when a valve must be operated from a control system, or when several hydraulic circuits need coordinated isolation.

Published smaller KHB models are rated up to 500 bar; ratings reduce by size and must be confirmed for the chosen model.

Is it the same as a standard pneumatic ball valve?

What is the maximum pressure rating?
The current published range includes models with nominal pressure ratings up to 500 bar. The exact pressure rating depends on the selected connection and nominal diameter.
What sizes are available?
The published KHB range covers DN4 to DN60, with G-thread connections from G1/8 to G2.
Is the actuator single-acting or double-acting?
The standard Q configuration uses a double-acting pneumatic actuator. Compressed air is required for both opening and closing.
If your application requires a defined valve position after loss of air pressure, provide the complete safety requirement for technical evaluation.
Can the valve be used for throttling?
The valve is primarily designed for full-open and full-closed shut-off. It should not normally be used for continuous precision flow regulation.
